Provider Spotlight: Holly St. Pierre of HRS Counseling Services 💙🧠✨
In this spotlight, we sit down with Holly St. Pierre, owner of HRS Counseling Services, to explore her trauma-focused practice. Based in Ohio with three locations, Holly leads a team dedicated to compassionate, client-centered care for individuals across the lifespan.
At HRS Counseling Services, care is provided for clients ages four and up, including seniors, addressing depression, anxiety, trauma, and school avoidance. The practice also supports survivors of sex trafficking, labor trafficking, and domestic violence through a partnership with the Ohio Attorney General’s office, while maintaining a policy of not working with offenders.
We also explore brain spotting, a core therapeutic approach used in the practice. This modality helps process trauma stored in the midbrain and body, offering an alternative to traditional talk therapy through deeper emotional processing and healing.
This conversation offers a grounded look at trauma care, clinical insight, and the work of supporting survivors through innovative therapeutic methods.
