How to Share Access with Meddkit
We recommend inviting Meddkit as an admin, editor, or contributor instead of sending usernames and passwords. If you need help, email [email protected].
1. General Guidelines
- Recommended: Invite Meddkit with admin/editor/contributor permissions.
- Alternative (less secure): Send username/passwords directly to [email protected].
- Do not post passwords publicly.
- You can remove Meddkit access anytime.
2. Platforms
a) GoDaddy (Domain & Hosting Access)
- Log in → Account Settings → Delegate Access.
- Click Invite to Access.
- Enter [email protected].
- Choose access level: Products & Domains (Recommended) – Manage domains, DNS, hosting.
- Click Invite.
b) Squarespace (Website Access)
- Log in → Settings → Permissions → Invite Contributor.
- Enter [email protected].
- Assign a role: Admin (Recommended) or other roles as needed.
- Click Send Invite.
c) Wix (Website Access)
- Log in → Settings → Roles & Permissions → Invite People.
- Enter [email protected].
- Assign role: Admin (Recommended) or Editor.
- Click Send Invite.
d) WordPress (Website Access)
- Log in to your WordPress Dashboard (usually yourdomain.com/wp-admin).
- Go to Users → Add New.
- Username: meddkit | Email: [email protected].
- Role: Administrator.
- Check the box: Send User Notification.
- Click Add New User.
e) Facebook / Meta Business Manager
We’ll request access to your Facebook business page. Here’s how to approve our request:
- Log in to Facebook
- Use the account associated with your business page.
- Go to your Page settings or Meta Business Suite
- For Business Suite: business.facebook.com/settings
- Find the pending access request
- You should see a request from Meddkit for your Facebook Page.
- Review the access
- Confirm the permissions being requested.
- Approve the request
f) Instagram
- Via Facebook Business Manager (Recommended): Add Meddkit following the steps under Facebook/Meta Business Manager.
- Direct Account (Less secure): Share credentials only if necessary via [email protected].
g) LinkedIn Company Page
- Log in to LinkedIn
Use your personal LinkedIn account that has admin access to your company page. - Go to your Company Page
Navigate to the LinkedIn Company Page you want Meddkit to manage. - Access Page Admin Settings
While viewing the page as an admin, scroll to the bottom of the left-hand menu and click Settings. Then click Manage admins. - Add Meddkit as an Admin
Click Add admin. Enter the email of a Meddkit team member with a LinkedIn account. You can use [email protected] and/or [email protected]. Assign the role: Super Admin / Content Admin is recommended. Click Save / Send invite. - Meddkit Will Accept the Invitation
The Meddkit team member will receive an email from LinkedIn to accept the invitation.
h) Google Business Profile (Business Listing)
- Log in to Google Business Profile Manager at https://business.google.com/.
- Click the three vertical dots in the top right corner of your profile.
- Select Business Profile settings.
- Click People and access.
- Enter the email [email protected]
- Assign role: Manager (Recommended) or Owner if full control is needed.
- Click Invite.
i) YouTube Existing Account
- Go to studio.youtube.com
- On the left-hand side, click Settings.
- Click Permissions
- At the top right, click Invite and enter the email address of the person you’d like to invite ([email protected] or [email protected]).
- Under the email, click Access and choose Editor>Done.
- Click Save.
