Egypt, Kingdom. An Order Of The Nile, Knight, By Lattes, Cairo, C.1924 Newly Listed Offered is an excellent example(Nishan al Nil). Instituted 1915 by Sultan Husain Kamil. In silver, consisting of ten multifaceted rays, with gilt radiating from centre medallion, obverse presents a white enameled five armed star with silver gilt centre, reverse marked Lattes and Cairo assay marked silver standard marked, marked with a Cat (National Mark used between 1916 and 1946) and date marked ""Z"" (1924 1925), measuring 43. 2 mm (w) x 64 mm (h inclusive of crown suspension),
