Silver neck badge with white enamel and a dark red cabochon centrepiece, inclusive of flower suspension 87. 2 mm (h) x 55. 4 mm (w), small stain on ribbon, mint condition. Housed in original case, very fine condition. Footnote: The Order was instituted 4th of October 1875 by Emperor Meiji. The Order of the Rising Sun is awarded to people who have rendered distinguished service to the state in various fields
