Constructed of gilded and silvered bronze with multi coloured enamels, consisting of a Cross Patte, the obverse with ribbed arms, with a central gilt oak leaf wreath surrounding an enameled Imperial tricolour shield, the arms bearing initials KFB for Frontkriegerbund, with dates 1914 1918, the reverse with a vertical pinback, maker marked
